The Audio Material...
As some of these tapes are quite old, worn out, or recorded on cheap material, the challenge was trying to make the best out of it when it comes to ripping them on mp3 format.A 4-track recorder is used to play the tapes, and to equalize the separated stereo channels.
Some inspiration is needed throughout the process...
The signal pass through an external audio numeric interface, the quality of the RCA stereo cables is also important at this stage...Some Audio editing software is used afterwards to adjust the sound and to cut the files.
