Info Post


First mini lp from the british combo Silverfish, who later evolved in a more indie noise rock thing with their following records "Cockeye", "Fat Axl" and "Organ Fan". Here, the unpolished sound is quite raw and aggressive, layers of fuzzy guitars and distorted bass over simple repetitive pounding drums, their best work in my opinion. Saw them live in 1992 and that was an enjoyable experience as far as i remember.
The vocalist Lesley Rankine embraced a solo carreer after 1993 founding the trip-hop project Ruby, remember reading an interview from her where she had lots of comtempt for her previous bandmates and the narrow-mindedness of the "indie-rock-hardcore-scene" where she crawled during her early musical stage...
