From the lyrical themes to the fast thrashing music, it's obvious that Fear Itself had been massively influenced by their forefather band Septic Death. But Fear Itself's sound still got some personality, while being extremely fast at times, these songs are well written and got some memorable melodies and structures.
I loved this record when it came out and still enjoy listening to it 24 years later.
Too bad this band is so underrated, this 12" is their only album, which was first released in US as a limited pressing, and then made widely available in Europe by the german label We Bite Records. Second hands copies are still easy to find at a reasonable price.
