It's been already two weeks before the last post due to a computer problem, but the blog is back with the lesser known third volume of "The Choice is Mine" compilation tape series from XPX label from Japan. Here we have a smorgasbord of international hardcore music with a fine selection of japanese bands. 52 songs for 14 bands. Notable unrelased tracks from Sendai's Bat Bones, with their vicious and violent metallic hardcore, early demo material from The Slang, Australia's Resolute and Holland's Catweazle dish out grinding crust the way it was done in the late 80s, Germany's Bad Attitude songs are catchy and solid, Superdumb plays jumpy, funny H/C, early demo material from Mexico's Anarchus, live board recording from Sapporo's Hedge Hog, but brutal japcore by the way, Netherlands female fronted anarcho H/C punk from Anal Terror, would like to hear more from them, and two minutes session of shitty senseless noisecore from Greece's Grinding Disgust.
Fairly listenable... Volume #1 & #2 were previously posted here last July, enjoy.
