Minority Blocks - We The Minorities

First album from the Cebu based band Minority Blocks. I assume this was recorded & produced around 2001 or 2002 by the S.R.A. collective who organize gigs and releases a few records from bands located in the Cebu area.
Minority Blocks play angry and fast pounding Hard Core Punk dealing with social and political issues. This is maybe one of the bands that captures the best the anger and frustration of the early zeroes living under the Estrada administration.
The guitar playing is not that tight on some songs, but the power and fury unleashed in this recording compensates for all the technical flaws. The song "Many Money", while being simple and repetitive, get the message across...
