Slang - Early Demo lp - 1998

This 12'' lp collects the two first demos from the Hokkaido punk veterans Slang and was issued for the band's ten-year anniversary. The music here is straightforward punk hard core, combining the scandinavian sound, UKHC bands like Ripcord and the typical gruffy japanese voice.
Later on, on their 2001 album "Skilled Rhythm Kills", they turned playing more metallic New York influenced HC... while returning to their basic sound on their last releases.
The band is still going strong today, they run their own record label Straight Up Records, putting out the "Hard Core Ball" compilation series, gathering the Sapporo bands from their area.
