Half Years - Power 7'' - Kaigai Mousou - 1988Half Years is short lived band, who only released this 7'' ep, and appeared on both volumes of the "Hang the Sucker" compilation, on the same label.
They had former members from Gudon and Chicken Bowels, so i assume they're also coming from the Hiroshima area. The bass player is the guy from Outo, the guitarist Zigyaku played later in more famous bands like Bastard and Judgement, he's probably still playing music until now, but i'm not familiar with all that "50 years-old japanese rockers" scene and "Burning Spirits" stuff...
Half Years music is simple, but driving and powerful, the cover photo makes this record look like a J-pop single, don't see the purpose here, but i prefer hardcore records with pictures of cute girls instead of the usual, mandatory skull & crossbones, pictures of war and starving children...
