The Eastern Offensive tapeStraight Time Productions - Japan 1989
That tape was produced by Roger Armstrong, the guy who played drums in the Japanese band SIC and who wrote those very thrilling and informative japanese scene report in MRR back then.
The sound is pretty lo-fi there, seems the sessions were recorded with a portable tape recorder in the rehearsal room. As i wasn't really familiar with Filipino punk music at that time, i thought the scene was so underground that they couldn't have access to studio recording technology... Death From Above and I.N.R.I. share some members and rehearsal room somewhere in Paranaque, Brain Damage tracks are pretty decent punk-rock.
I did not include the japanese bands tracks as you can find them on different compilations or on their respective discographies with a much better sound quality.
Opposition Party from Singapore still plays to this day, the two tracks included here
