Underground Music For Underground Creatures
Middle Finger - 1994

After the Label Twisted Red Cross ceased its activities and the Brave New World movement vanished at the end of the Eighties, some people didn't give up and decide to keep the flame burning.
Middle Finger is a label run by the guys from the band Bad Omen. This is their first production.
During the Nineties, in the Philippines as well as in other places in the world, The underground punk scene did split in different clans and currents: Emo, NYHC metalcore, Crust and so on... The kids also had massive access to Cable TV and the sounds displayed by MTV's Alternative Nation was the main influence for many of them.
This tape gives a good overview of the remaining forces of the Pinoy punk scene from the mid-90s. From the bands featured here, only A.D.A. and Hard Kulangot still exist to this day.
A.D.A. plays ferocious noisecore and had a split 7' with the japanese noise unit Caravana Anarquista in 2005.
